Complaint Review: Grays Pointe Condo Grayslake IL

Watch out for these people.  When we moved into the Rental Condo the office staff was great, polite, willing to go the extra mile, just plain good customer service.  Unfortunately, they got fired because of it.  The people in there now are incompetent (sent us a five day notice to vacate when we already paid our bill), rude (no explaination but a sacastic we're sorry its a computer error, knew we were moving out but never stated that an appointment was necessary for a walk-through.  When I was ready for the walk through they stated that they were at "lunch".  No they weren't - they were just sitting around chatting.  Told me make an appointment, and come back when they were ready.  What????   Ask if the carpet was "professionally" cleaned - It wasn't professionally cleaned when we got the apartment 3 months ago.  The place was a mess when we moved in.  And told her so.  But it was left clean.  Got really mad.  Yes, I told them off.  Do not rent from these people!  Apartment noise from above was loud, and I complained to those above and to management without effect.  Lousy parking.  Applicances old.  Ground level apartments are accessible by going up a flight of stairs then down.  It is not handicap accessible.  Geese run wild in the lake/park area with the resulting mess that is never cleaned up.  Pool is small, and parents let their kids use it as a bathroom, and think its funny.
