I was high bidder on a GunBroker auction for a Henry Rifle. This rifle was listed with an opening bid of $2500.00 with no reserve. My winning bid was $9300.00 and following the auction, the seller wrote me and said this was a listing error and he would't honor the sale.

I believe after the item was listed for the full term that there should be no question about the end result of the auction and the seller should be required to complete the sale.

Original Henry rifle was to be listed at $25,000. The girl left a 0 off and accidently listed it at $2,500. This guy jumped on it and bid. Once a bid is in place, Gunbroker will NOT leet you change ad. I COULD and DID add a description to ad-stating listing error. He continued to bid even though he KNEW NO ONE would sell an original Henry rifle for less than  $25,000. He's being a D.H. as he KNOWS the prices of old guns and sells them on Gunbroker as well. Made NO EFFORT to contact me-just running his mouth wanting someone to listen to him cry.

We sell a lot of antiques and have a great rating. He's just a whiner and you run across them on occasion.

Very simple, honest mistake. When listing Henry on Gunbroker, the girl left a 0 off. Instead of $25,000, it read $2500. He instantly placed a bid. ONCE a bid is in place ads CAN NOT be changed, I COULD and DID add a description, stating price was wrong.

This guy KNOWS you can not buy an original Henry for 2,500. He's just being a D.H. He sells old guns and KNOWS the markeet. He caN cry all he wants but NO ONE will sell him a Henry for $2,500.
