Bought 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on 10-11-2007
Key got stuck in ignition on 10-29-2007. Grayson had issues with me keeping the loaner car longer than one day, so I took the Jeep to Oak Ridge Chrysler to be fixed
Got the Jeep back on 10-31-07 Ignition had to be replaced

On Dec 17, 2007 the key got stuck again
Took to Oak Ridge Chrysler and the gear shifter was replaced Got the Jeep back on 12-26-07 (due to part being shipped during Christmas)

On Feb 3, 2008 at 6:15 am was leaving home to go to work and the headlights wouldnt come on Took again to Oak Ridge Chrysler and the light shifter was replaced
Got the Jeep back on 2-4-08

On Feb 18, 2008 the blower on the heater stopped working
Called Grayson, left message for a manager CL to call me back, didn't call I called back and asked to speak to another manager, talked with Eddie, explained that this Jeep has been nothing but problems

Didn't take it to be fixed due to missing work and other issues that heater not blowing air was not the highest on my agenda Good thing because last night, March 5, 2008 the lights went out again!!

Very important, light switch on and the lights may flash on and off, may not come on at all or may only work with park lights or high beam!! Who knows??
So I called Chrysler this morning, opened a concern/complaint and was given a reference number.
When asked what I expected Chrysler to do, I told her buy this Jeep back would be the right thing to do.
I was told to go back to Grayson, discuss with a manager and my Jeep would be fixed.

I did that, I gave 28,000 for the Jeep on 10-11-2007 It has 6,509 miles now and Eddie offered me 22,000. He said that when a new vehicle is titled it looses 5-6,000. This I know but when a new vehicle is purchased you don't expect to spend the first four months in the shop and being afraid of driving it.

I have had the Jeep in the shop a total of 12 days, missed a couple hrs work each morning and afternoon dropping off and picking it up. Now I will again take it to Oak Ridge Chrysler..and if you have a vehicle, please take it to them, not only are they nice to work with even when you didn't purchase the vehicle from them but they also honor Chrysler's warranty.

Unlike Grayson, the first time I took the Jeep to be fixed at Grayson I was told by the Service Manager that he didn't know if he could get me a loaner.
Ha, my Chrysler contract states a loaner or rental will be provided. I didn't realize that when I picked it up and drove to Oak Ridge Chrysler. Too bad.
I didn't find out when one of the managers at Grayson called and was concerned that I wouldn't complete their survey so they could maintain their 5 star rating. I was given two years of free oil changes at Grayson to compensate for it.

I am upset that Grayson isn't the dealership I thought when I bought my Jeep. It is sad that the 5 star only applies long enough to get the survey completed.

If you are reading this, read about a 5 star rating. It is important. But please understand that I recommend if you are going to purchase a Jeep, do not go to Grayson Jeep. Go to a dealership that will stand behind their product and their customer satisfaction.

Oh and I did get a $75 gift certificate for taking the survey to the dealership to fill out. But if you look at the dates above, My jeep was is the shop during Christmas.

Now what I expected, the dealership should have offered to split the difference with me on this Jeep. If it's value drops 5-6,000 for titling a new vehicle and the customer is having issues with it, split the difference, don't make the customer pay for the product when there's problems continuing to happen, especially within the first 30 days.
