I received this letter in the mail claiming that my daughters photo, which was entered into a photo contest, was chosen to be in the marvelous book.  It was very well done and I even did a check on the BBB website and a general scan on the internet and nothing popped up at all.  I thought I had covered all my bases and it looked legit.  (This was in 2008).

So after doing my homework, I thought this sounded legit.  My husband and I were very excited.  We sent the check to reserve our 3 copies.  Well here we are, almost 2011 and still no books.  And yes I tried to call, no such luck.  I tried to write a letter, it got returned.  So I'm out almost $200.  An expensive lesson learned.

Actually, EVERY baby that had their photo entered received that same letter. These 'contests' are nothing more than a sales pitch for a book full of photos. Whether it be baby photos, scenery photos or model pose photos. Everyone's a winner....... and a loser.

The profit margin on these photo books is obscene.
