Several problems going back to March 2023 when we bought our $133k RV. It’s currently October 2023. Still not resolved. Getting the runaround. This includes selling us an expensive electronic device we didn’t need because it is already integrated in our RV. And they have repeatedly refused to refund us for this.

We would like a refund for the electronic part (a router) that cost us over $400. They misled us by telling us we needed this part. It’s still new, in the box & unopened. Taking the part back and refunding us for this poses no risk or loss to their business. They can resell it. It’s current technology.

The entire experience with GARV Memphis has been difficult, disappointing and frustrating. It took us 8 hours to take delivery of our new 2023 RV, which we made a deal on and bought sight-unseen online. Several things were wrong with it which took forever to resolve, some of them are still not resolved. Probably won’t be buying from this dealership again.

The dealership contacted me after I complained to this site, BBB and several other agencies & sources, apologized, said they would refund me for the Wi-Fi router that was recommended to me unnecessarily and incorrectly, and refund the shipping for sending the Wi-Fi router back to them too. Hopefully, this will be done. tToo much run around for a customer buying a very expensive item who should be treated better and viewed with more honesty and credibility.

Gallatin,

More to it

My brief summary perhaps led you to draw mistaken conclusions. My main gripe was being charged for a $400+ electronic device we didn’t need and not getting a refund for it. As far as the other items go, these were discovered after we took delivery, but the dealer prep & inspection process was done poorly, too, something we were aware of when we were closing the deal at the dealership. We didn’t pay for this RV completely on the Internet before going to the dealership. We put down a refundable deposit beforehand. We have seen this and dozens of other RVs both in person and on YouTube for years. So we’re well educated on these rigs. The basic floor plan and features are what we want. But, as many people have learned, even with this figured out beforehand, dealerships don’t always follow through with the best delivery or post-sales service — hence the usefulness of a site like this.

You spent SIX FIGURES on an RV you've never seen, never test driven, never heard the engine, never checked all the accessories, never checked for body fit and finish, never checked how this thing shifted??? Now you come here to cry, whine and stomp your feet because you think you've been defrauded? What a laugh. Since you seem to be knowledgeable about this router, why didn't you check out the need for it BEFORE you agreed to buy it? I'm almost afraid to ask, what kind of bogus, add-on, fake fees did they add to the deal and you went along with? The bottom line is you posted here to get suggestions as to how to handle this, right? Here's the best suggestion anyone can give you...go find a serious medical professional. Tell them you are sure you have a huge lack of COMMON SENSE in your body. Maybe they can provide you some sort of medication and no, I don't work for them!
