I received a call today, unsolicated to my business cell number, initially automated in regards to an extended warranty service on a vehicle whose warranty is about to expire. I followed the prompts and was connected to a live rep. They seemed to know my warranty was about to expire or just made a lucky guess but didnt know the year or type of vehicle so likely jsut a guess. They were offering 100,000 miles with 5 years of service for $2450, but if I agreed today $400 would come off the price with 0% finaning for 12 months. Coverage description sounded too good to be true and much better than competitors, similar to a bumper to bumper coverage. When I told them I had been looking at other warranties with similar coverage terms, miles and time they pushed harder. I questioned the deductible which they said wa$0 and repairs could be made at any facility. I explained that I wanted to see the terms of their covferage to compre with AAA. They responded that the offer is onloy good for the dy at which time I declined. They backed off immediately and agreed to call back tomorrow and after a few requests they offered to e-mail their insurering agreement. A few interesting lines in the Agreement, none of wich Were mentioned during the call, including:

Not knowing what Trac-Guard is and no mention of it during the sales call, as well as some of the exclusions which are or can be interpreted in several ways, this looks like a possible scam
