I was surfing the net one night and happened on the Great Expectations web site. I signed up for information and pretty much forgot about it. Then I get a call asking me to set up a meeting at an office here in Richmond. I figured it couldn't hurt, so I agreed.

Had I known then what I know now, I never would have stepped foot in that place.

I started this process by answering questionaires, but then the high pressure sales pitch started. I ended up spending four hours there that evening.

Eventually I ended up signing a contract with these people. I tried to talk them into letting me out of this contract but got no where with them. Even though I explained that I had just entered a relationship that ended up lasting over two years. (I met some one between the time I signed the contract and actually had a chance to use the service.)

All these people are really interested in is your money. They have no interst whatsoever in actually providing a service. It's all about the contract and your money.

I eventually used the service for maybe the better part of the last year. The results of the dates were less than desirable.

I completed the terms I agreed to, and let them know I wasn't interested in continuing the service and thought that was that.

But no........

They continued to charge me even after I cancelled the service and I didn't realize it until last year when I changed my bank account.

Apparently, to these people, you can cancel the service and they still feel comfortable charging you the same fee. Even though you are no longer a customer!

To add insult to injury, the way I was notified they wanted more of my money was by a collection agency who stated unless I send a written letter canceling the service they still expect the same payment every month!!!

Why didnt they tell me this when I called to let them know I wouldn't be using the service anymore?

Because they are dishonest con artists who only care about your money!!!
