I went it to GE about 2 weeks ago. I spent approximately 2.5 hours being "screened" for the service. The representative worked me ----trying to find out why previous relationships failed-- and then buttered me up- telling me what a great guy I was, etc. At any rate, the sales rep pried into very personal information -- in effect getting intimate information---all to make a personal connection with me-- and hopefully later on -- to make a sale!

At the end of this whole thing I knew it was going to be expensive - but had NO IDEA HOW EXPENSIVE. The cost? Roughly $4,000 to $5,000 and the online connection was only good for 3 months. After that I would have to pony up about $30 a month. All money had to be paid up front and the service was cancelled at the time of expiration or upon marriage- whichever came first. There would be no refund of any remaining time.

I practically had to forcibly exit the room. The sales rep (no lady that's for sure) had the audacity to suggest I charge it. I am SO GLAD I GOT THE HELL OUT OF THERE.

BUYERS BEWARE. This is a legal ripoff!!!!!

Randy,
You pegged this woman exactly. She was playing you like a fiddle. In the first place who was she to analyze your relationships that is the job of psycologist not some woman at a dating service. You did the right thing you used your two feet against the pressure and you won.
