I received an offer to join Great Fun for a free trial period after purchasing some convert tickets and was told that if I cancelled within 30 days I would not be charged. I was then charged $1 twice to my credit card. I found their website completely worthless and then few local offers seemed to be expired, or even for places that were closed. I dutifully called and cancelled on day 29 and recorded the cancellation number. 4 months later I realized I was being charged $16.99 every month by Great Fun! I called to complain with my cancellation number in hand, only to be told that I only cancelled one of their services and could not get a refund. As I waited on hold I remembered that I had questioned that second $1 charge, but had been told not to worry about it.

Always check your credit card statement. I am embarrassed that I missed the charges for this long. I am also angry at ticketmaster/livenation for directing me to this scam in the first place.
