Great Lakes Custom Drywall/ Dennis Galinis the company left me with over $2,000.00 worth of drywall bills because he never paid supplier. A lein was put on my house by supplier who I had to pay. Now, I am still trying to get my money back Cedar Springs Michigan
Dennis Galinis, Great Lakes Custom Drywall, in a fancy way stole my money.
I was sent a letter a "Notice of Furnishing" from his supplier with his name on it. I figured the letter was suppose to go to him. So, I asked him if it was anything I needed. He replied that it was nothing. Normally, I am not so trusting but he graduated with my husband, so I believed him. BIG MISTAKE.
It took them forever to finish the job! About a month after the drywall deliverly, they finally finished and we wrote him a check for the remainder of work and had him sign the lein wavier.
In December, I recieved a letter in the mail from Home Acres, the drywall supplier, saying they had put a lien on my house because Dennis did not pay his bill. I contacted Dennis and he said repeatedly he would take care of it.
Finally, January I gave up and took him to small claims court and recieved the judgement in my favor. He, however, is yet to come across with what he stole. I still have been trying to recover the money through the court system, but I don't know if it will ever happen.
