This company is so fly by night, they make up prices to the customer day by day to best fit the companies financial status.  There have been bills that have went from $10k to $28k just because the owner felt like it.  Must be nice.

Oh yeah, and dont accidently park your car somewhere with a Great Lakes II towing sign, if you dont come get your car in a week or 2, the will crush it and display no record of it.

The list goes on and on with this company, hmm wonder what happened to Great Lakes Service #1

My name is Dean Malamis and I am the owner of Great Lakes Service II located at 562 s Vista Ave Addison,IL main# 630-543-1804  and I would like to respond to this complaint.I have been in business since 1994 performing auto and truck repairs and have been towing and recovering  vehicles for many agencys such as the Dupage County Sheriff ,Oak Brook Police Dept.We are a AAA Approved Auto Center for the past eight years with zero complaints to speak of.In the past we have performed thousands of AAA Roadside tows, service calls, winch outs, lock outs for the Dupage area. We are also a licensed vehicle relocator in Dupage county and we our governed by the Illinois Commerce Commision .If your vehicle is towed by our facility the registered owner will be notified by a police agency of the town that it was towed out of and /or a letter will be sent to the owner so he/she can pick up the vehicle. We do not have any complaints or violations noted by the ICC and have only performed a half a dozen relocation tows since we have been licenced 6 months ago.In response to the comment of "hmm wonder what happened to Great Lakes Service #1 "  im not sure my company was never incorporated with that name in Illinois nor do I know if a name such as that ever existed.
