Great Lakes Warranty Corporation refused to obey a judgement to pay a claim filed by maryland district court Bridgeville Pennsylvania
Great lakes refused to pay for a covered repair to my car. They refused to respond to numerous calls and were the most arrogant group of people I have ever dealt with. Finally I had to file a complaint in court which the judge found in my favor. Even after they were ordered by the court to pay they refused.
I am now filing a lien against their business and bank accounts in their county. this will effectively freeze their accounts until the judgment is satisfied. (they pay). I paid $4,000 for their warranty which still in effect and which I will continue to use as per our contract. I will not be intimidated by their unethical and dishonest tactics.
All of you should know that it is easy to file a suit and the judge will find in your favor if you are correct. It costs less than $20 and takes one hour of time in court. Most states let you do this on line or at least download the forms.

I had to comment here because I just filed a complaint on this site with the same issue. I actually have had a lien filed on the company for almost six months, and they *still* have not paid.
Please keep us posted on the resolution on this issue from your end, and I'll do the same.
