Complaint Review: Great White Mechanical

Great White Mechanical Alexander Hall Company does not stand by their work or warranty. Work performed failed within 25 days and the owner refused to honor work. Even with a copy of my paid invoice. They are only interested in billing out Warren, Michigan

This company does not stand by their work. I have a paid invoice from May 27, 2010 for work performed.


Three weeks later the system failed. I called the owner Alex Hall and asked him to come back to charge the air conditioning unit. He refused to honor the warranty. During the hottest days in Michigan my family was left to suffer the consequences of bad service.


I called the office and spoke to Ryan and Monique. Both were aware that our system was down and even asked "you must be really hot". When it is 90 degrees outside I assume his question was retorical.


The answer was still 'we are not responsible'. I couldn't say it better myself.


Consider this a severe warning. Buyer beware...

In this report, it is said that we wouldn't cover our own warranty. When we had originally came out to Daniel's home the air conditioning system was low on refrigerant. We did a leak test and found nothing. When we were at the home originally we said we would come back out to do further diagnosis at a normal rates, if the charge wouldn't hold. Daniel is also in a landlord tenant relationship that he forgot to mention. After the first service call the landlord would not authorize more work to be done on the home and Daniel himself was not willing to pay for our services. When we do any sort of installation or repair we guarantee that work, in this case we simply did a leak test and charged the system. The was no repair or installation to be warrantied.
