Complaint Review: GreatBizSites - ILD TELESERVICES

As others have said, I too have been ripped off by GreatBizSites. SJ from Tennessee explains exactly what I went though. I was called by someone too and should have hung up quickly.... Well, now I've learned my lesson. In March of 2007 I called GreatBizSites to say that I never authorized any service by them, all I authorized was for them to fax some information. To do even that I was asked a series of questions at which point they had to restart the whole thing every time I embellished my answer. All they wanted was "Yes" or "No". Well that should have been my first clue to hang up, but dummy me; I gave them what I wanted. Next thing I know, I do not get a fax, but I do get charged $119.90 on my March phone bill. I called the 800 number on the phone bill to complain and the replayed the recording, which was completely doctored. They took my yes and no answers and made them fit exactly where they wanted them to make it sound as if I agreed to purchase their services.

I argued the issue with "Katie Rodger and then Fred Brown - VP or QA", who canceled my account and provided me with a confirmation number. Then again in February 2008, I'm charged again for their services, this time my phone bill shows ILD Teleservices Inc., but this time it was a charge for $106.89. This time there was no phone conversation at all. Apparently the block I put on for GreatBizSites didn't work, because the 2nd time it came in as ILD TELESERVICES INC. To top it off, we're given a Notice for Collection in June 2008!!! Will this nightmare ever end? Where is the Better Business Bauru when you need them????
