In las vegas there are water laws in the summer time due to the heat and water conservation. We rented a property from this company, it is there policy to report any property issues to the company if any should occur.
At some point in time we noticed there was an issue with the sprinkler system in the backyard landscaping. The sprinkler had been leaking water into our neighbors back year which was at a slightly lower level so it caught the water that had seeped through our soil.
We informed the property management and they sent their internal maintenance guy to look at the issue. He worked on the issue but then come to find out we had been leaking more water then before. Our water bill which had never exceeded $50 for the last 6 months was now over $300.
We believe the issue was due to the landscaping, so we shut off the water system and manually watered the landscape ourselves, the next meter reading was down and that month our water bill was back to normal, we informed Greater las vegas and they told us it was not their problem, and we could not prove the issue was caused by them.
We decided not to renew our lease with them, and moved out of the property.
After moving out we received our deposit check but it had been missing the $150.00 deposit for the Garage remote, which had been returned to them in person. It could be an honest mistake so we called the office and spoke to Joy our property representative, she said it had been a mistake and informed us that the "check would be in the mail".
Over the next few months she told us the same thing, that the check would be in the mail each time we tried to contact them. Carol Anderson who is in charge of billing did not return my call when I tried to contact her the other day, it has been 6 months and we still have not received the check.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and had been very polite each time I spoke to the people in this office, but this run-around has been ridiculous.
From my experience the people who run this office are LIARS, they are RUDE, and UNPROFESSINAL. If you would like to purchase or rent a house I recommend you stay away from this company they will make things hard for you!
