green door hydro sold me a defective switch los angeles California

i bought a $58 switch from this company through ebay. when i went to use it, i found out that the switch was defective. when i went to return it, they messed up ( i think intentionally) on the shipping label. this caused the item to be returned to me. this happened twice then the third time i had to use money out of my pocket to get the package back to them. a week after they recieved the package, i still didnt have my money back.

'in the end, after hours of my time and explaining my situation to ebay, they will be forced to refund me.

im sure this company has done this to others and i hope this helps stop it.

 

do not buy from green door hydro, they do bad business!

Hello I am the accountant here at Green Door Hydro. The customer's payment was refunded as soon as the item was returned to us. I cannot post the proof to protect the cutomer's information but I'm sure if he is contacted it can be confirmed.

 this seller has not tried to work with me on this at all and will not return my messages. i have contacted them several times and they still havent refunded me.

the defective item that they sold me was  returned to them on oct 1st. it is now oct 15th and no refund.

beware of this company!!! they sell poor quality products and will not follow through with there return policy. i hope this helps keep others from having to go thru all the BS that i am with this company.

Hello my name is Sam and I am the e-commerce manager here at Green Door Hydro. We apologize to all our customers who had to read this report.  I am confident when I say we have never ripped off a single customer. We are an actual brick and mortar store here in downtown Los Angeles. We have never kept a customer’s money without shipping them the exact item advertised. All our packages are insured so our customers never have to worry about paying for a damaged item. If an item is defective out the box we will take it back for a full refund or exchange, we’ll even send you a label to ship it back to us. As a convenience to our customers we handle most manufacturers’ warranties directly. Below I have attached a record of the actual transaction in complaint.

09/12/2014: The order is placed from our eBay store on Friday night
09/15/2014: The order is received on Monday morning and shipped the same day
09/17/2014: The tracking # shows that the item is received by the customer 2 days later

09/17/2014: The customer lets us know the item seems to be defective
09/17/2014: We reply letting the customer know they can return it

09/23/2014: Customer says he went through eBay’s return process but the item was shipped back to the customer
09/24/2014: We email the customer our own shipping label

09/26/2014: The customer calls us directly to figure out a resolution

09/27/2014: Customer leaves us a negative feedback on eBay. The comment contained some profanity so eBay actually had to remove the comment but kept the negative rating on our account.

09/29/2014: The customer asks why he hasn’t been refunded
09/29/2014: We let the customer know we have not received the item back yet and we cannot issue a refund until the item is returned.

09/30/2014: The customer calls us with choice words I’d rather not mention.

Here at Green Door Hydro we take every customer very seriously. We tried working with this customer several times. We always kept it professional; unfortunately the customer did not give our staff the same courtesy. He repeatedly used foul language to our receptionists and kept accusing us of “stealing from him”. Overall it was a very uncomfortable experience but we will definitely learn and grow from it.
