Complaint Review: Green Dot

My father is mixed up in a Jamacican lottery scam.  After getting is accounts secured and monitoring his phone calls, he has started talking to the scammers again.  He is using Green Dot to send money now.  I called Green Dot and asked for some help with this matter.  I spent 30 minutes on the phone before talking to a live person who spoke very little english and transfered me back to the automated answering service.  Another 20 minutes and I was back to speaking with a live person who also spoke little english and I asked to be transfered to her supervisor.  On hold for another 10 minutes and finally got to talk to a customer service specialist.  Broken english, rude, and unhelpful.  These people are aiding criminals to pump millions of dollars out of the U.S.  They do want to help families who are trying to deal with these situations because it will hurt their business.  Less cards sold and less accounts set up equals less money for them.  When I asked the last person to transfer me to someone "higher up the ladder", I was told she was at the top.  I argued with her on this and she put me on hold for about 20 miutes before coming back on the line and told me there is notheing she could do.  Out of all of the different agencies I've talked to in the last six weeks of this ordeal, Green Dot was was the most unhelpful.  Actually no help at all.  I would use caution when using their services because of their connection to scammers and not wanting to help consumers.  They are rude on the phone and speak broken engish with heavy accents which makes it very difficult to understand anything that they are not helping you with. Beware.
