I have a green dot mastercard and purchased a card from walgreens to add 400 to my card and transfer to another checking accoint. In the process of transferring my money from my green dot card to my checking account I accidently put the wrong zip code in and as a result green dot placed a hold on my money.

I called green dot customer service to ask what i needed to do and I was informed that according to the agreement that there would be a ten day hold. So I went and read the agreement and the agreement said that if the merchant sent a certified letter by mail or fax they would release the hold. I called the customer service again and informed them on their agreement and all of a sudden there was a limit of $200.00 which was not in the agreement.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for 20 minutes and then the rep said he would transfer me to a supervisor but my call was plced back in que.
