Green Dot Premier Money Pack Steals money and alerts others when money appears on the card Internet
I have found that over the past few years since I have been using the green dot money pack reload service, that money continually disappears frm my account. When you purchase the reload pack you are charged 4.95 as an activiation fee, however they take an additional amount there after. When I called to question it I was told that we are charged for months that the card was not being used, this sounds very strange to me and defeats the entire idea behind the cards primary use. In addition to this I have had money taken off my card when no purchases have been made as well as having additional charges applied when making purchase. I believed that the idea behind the green dot card was, you put money on it and can spend no more than the amount that was loaded, however it seems as though they have found a way in which to steal some of that money for themsleves resulting in your account to be short. I have, on several occassions tried to make a purchase online after calling to verify that money was still available on my card; after attemtping to complete my purchase I am informed that there was insufficient funds on my card. For example, I tried to purchase a shirt through a reputable company online, I called to veryify that thirty dollars was still on my card and it was, however by the time I clicked on the check-out link, the thirty dollars was gone, where I do not know, I tried calling the greendot card company and they hung up on me. I tried to call back and they said they could not help me and that there was another debit that came through. Now I am not sure what is going on, but on this occasion I had made no other purchases inthe five minutes it took me to attempt to check out online. Someone Please help, I am tired of the green dot company stealing my money!!!!!

Customers use MoneyPaks as a safe and secure way to reload prepaid cards, make same day payments and add money to Paypal accounts. MoneyPaks are a reload device and not designed for customers to hold on to for long periods of time. A $4.95 monthly fee is applied at the beginning of the 13th month after purchase; this is stated on the MoneyPak card itself and on the MoneyPak website.
Green Dot Prepaid Debit cards are subject to a monthly charge each month the card is active, for information on applicable fees visit our website www.greendot.com. We never charge overdraft, per purchase or customer service fees. Customers are also able to waive the monthly charge when they load over $1,000.00 or have 30 or more posted charges in a billing cycle. If you have a transaction on your account you wish to dispute, contact customer support using the number on the back of your card. You can also find information on disputing a transaction in the transaction history section of your online account or the cardholder agreement you received with your card. If you have attempted these options to resolve a transaction error and could not resolve your issue, please send an email with your name as it appears on your card, your phone number and a brief description of your issue to Customer.Advocacy@greendotcorp.com so we can review and contact you.
