Complaint Review: Green Dot Visa And Mastercard

I purchased a green dot visa for 9.99 and had a 200.00 moneypak to load on it.
I had a hard time validating it, which should of sent off signals. after finally getting it loaded the lady told me that for 19.95 I could have it overnighted.
I said its worth it no problem.
She put me to the dept to overnight it and I was told the card had already been shipped to me and it would take 7 to 10 business days.
I asked about my money and they said well you can make purchases online
Im like well I dont want to and that is not what I needed it for. I asked for a supervisor and was told no supervisor was available. I said I will hold no matter how long it took
Well low and behold a supervisor comes to the phone, probably not, and I had to state my problem and they said he can cancel my card and issue me another one but they would have to mail me a check.
I asked him if he could just go and overnight it and he said he cant is already on its way. I asked why then will it take 7 to 10 days and he said that is just the way the system works. So I asked if the mail carrier stops for coffee along the way or how is it delivered? He said through the mail. So I asked before it leaves the building can it be expressed and he said we dont overnight we can do a 3 day fed ex. Ok then 3 day fed ex it. I cant it already left. Well never again will I buy a green dot card there are a lot of other prepay cards out there that are more dependable. Buyer be ware.
