We made the biggest mistake ever buy purchasing a "new" scooter from X-treme Scooters and Green Max Distributors. After well over a month now, I still have a scooter in my garage that my 9 year old can't ride.

We received the scooter via UPS and could not believe our eyes after opening the box. None of the hardware was packaged. It was loose within the box everywhere. There was Literally clumps of dirt at the bottom of the box when we removed the scooter. There was no manual in the box and the bag that the hardware should have been in was under the scooter and ripped apart

My husband attempted to put the scooter together and it was very clear at that point that this was not the new scooter we paid for, it was a used one. It was covered in scratches. The trunk area had a large crack in the area were the key goes.

We immediately took pictures and emailed them to the company and X-treme Scooters blamed it on Green Max Distributors. We sent a all the information to them. They told us at time via telephone to put it together and see if it works. The scooter worked for 2 days, but the horn never worked. After 2 days the scooter completely stopped running.

Your courteous customer service rep will want to send you replacement parts (which would be basically impossible since the whole thing is junk), or send you a replacement scooter. Oh but you still have to pay to ship the damaged one back. So no matter what, you are out more money.

To make this very long story short, Green Max want us to pay to have this scooter shopped back and also pay a 15% restocking fee on the "new" scooter. We all know that this was never a new scooter.

Green Max Distributors and X-treme scooters.com are crooks! They take your money and send you defective junk that does not work. Do not do business with these companies if you value your hard earned money.

After the article was written about my difficulty with Green Max Distributors, Sean (Manager) has stepped up to the plate and is working with me to try to rectify the situation.  He is sending me a shipping label to send the damaged scooter back.  Thanks again to Sean.
