Would not recommend. Bought in July and still have major unresolved issues with landscaping, HVAC, cracks, pool equipment, fixes recommended from inspection, etc. 3 months later. It has been a real disappointment after investing our life savings. The 2 year builder warranty they sold us on does not exist..no documentation and none has been provided after several requests.

As a buyer you have no idea who to bring your request to as there are no processes in place. It's a 4 year old company after all. The project manager is a glorified baby sitter with no authority. The owners Marc Nassos and Derek Jarr are not involved unless you comment publicly as I've noticed. On top of that the actual "Green Street" company is made up of 4-6 shell companies. You actually sign an agreement with Arizona Community Ventures Inc, but it is built by Green Street. No one takes charge to get things done.

As it stands we are left with having to pursue the registrar of contractors and litigation to get what we paid for. It's unfortunate.

I think the designs are nice, layouts are good but there are plenty of good quality builders in the Arcadia, central Phoenix area. They definitely use cheap labor, it's evident in the quality of anything outside of their core competency. I would urge anyone to consider who built your house, their history, quality and after sale warranty work before buying. Get everything in writing. Do not buy from them before the house is complete as they will take the retail price of what you want added and add 100%+. Given the chance they will try to extract the most amount of profit from you as possible to the detriment to the look of your house.

This is a typical response of one of the owners of Green Street Communities; condescending, personal attacks with a complete lack of a factual data source. This is the first time I've heard from him since the fall of 2014. Funnily enough in a public forum, no call or email direct to me.

To reiterate Green Street does not have a written warranty. I've been asking for that for over a year now. Clearly Derek did not attach one here.

I most definitely did not communicate that you have addressed my concerns. Attached is the outstanding list that has been ignored in 2015. That's right...they've simply stopped responding. They are on their 3rd (!) project manager since I bought the house in only 5 months. That says a lot about how the company is run. The latest project manager has drawn a line in the sand and simply refuses to continue working to finish what we paid for.

Green Street does not have a buy back policy advertised anywhere or communicated through any channel. This off-the-cuff running of a business shows the lack of experience of the owners...the company is only 4 years old.

I've attached some photos of what the landscaping we paid for currently looks like.

We understand Korey had some frustrations with his new home and for that we apologize. He has recently communicated to our staff we have addressed all of the concerns listed in this original report.

We stand by our warranty and will be happy to handle any future items that might arise. Buying a new home fmor a licensed contractor, home builder is the best warranty you can get.

We have never had a problem with the Registar of Contractors.

We take pride in our clear & direct communication and welcome constructive feedback.

Construction is never easy and building a home can be an intense process.  I am disappointed to hear Korey may still not be completely happy with his home. He has an amazing home and a lot of people would love to own.

If Korey is still not satisfied, we would like to discuss purchasing his home back and allow him to find another home that suits his needs better.

At Green Street Communities, INC. we are continuing to improve our systems and client services.  We are not perfect, but are constanting improving with dozens of happy clients and friends that love their Green Street Home.
