I received a 'free' sample of 7 acacia tablets that were supposed to be for the body cleanse I had looked at on line. Postage and Handling charges, as stated in the agreement online, were 3.95. They were paid from my credit card. The address that was supposed to be on the billing statement was not the same as had been stated in the online information, instead it said Green Tea, 8773508480 UT. Because the amount was correct I let it go. I did not request any further products and saw that the pills were ridiculous.

Two weeks later, 10.15.08 there was a charge of 89.31 from IP-Colon Smart, 8773508514 KN, on my credit card statement that day I received a first class parcel from: Fulfillment, 4650 SW 51st St. Bay 411, Davie, FL 33314. I could tell it was a bottle of pills from the feel and sound of the bubble packet. 16 October, I sent the unopened parcel back, with "refused" written on it and a confirmation number to verify the delivery. October 20 At 1:11 PM the parcel was delivered.

16 October @ 6:21 PM I called 8773508514 and a male told me 'after' the parcel arrived I needed to call back to that number and they would credit my account. I have been unable to get through to the number after many hours of calling it. Once an answering machine picked up and I was left on hold for 20 minutes when the line disconnected. All repeated calls have gotten the busy signal.

In the meantime I have canceled my credit card and will file a dispute form through the credit card company in an effort to have the 89.31 removed from my account.

It is a lousy commentary on the internet businesses that are legitimate but more disturbing is the fact that the consumer has no recourse. Is there anything that we can do to minimize this scamming?
