Green Tree payments should be mailed certified letters so they have to sign for it.If you send it any other way they will hold it or claim to have not received it until its late. When they do that they will make you do everything yourself to find the payments and then threaten you with foreclosure.I thought sending western union quick collect was good enough but they will still deny they have it even when WU says and knows they do! This company is out to steal your home. There are people who have owned homes for over 17 years and GT did this to them. They are not a mortgage company just a servicer for payments.

Demand to know who holds your mortgage from them too.I have filed a complaint with the AG office in MS and with research I have read nothing but bad bad things.Real estate investors own this company and for some reason they are NOT being stopped from their ways. They will also NOT pay your homeowners insurance, let it drop and force you to buy insurance through them that is EXPENSIVE.That is illegal!! Know your rights and do not let them bully you.Don't do automatic bank drafts because they will still deny getting it on time and charge your account over and over for more than what you agreed too.

Pay attention to the fee's they charge you and watch your escrow account.I am scared to death with this company and not in a position to refinance.I met someone that did do that and GT bought their mortgage again! I am looking for class action lawsuits against them at this time. They bought my mortgage in May 2014.Its June 2014 and they have lost all 3 of my payments claiming they are trying to save me from foreclosure!! I am NOT behind with them!! If someone that can help GT victims reads this PLEASE help!! Sign any petition you can find, calls your AG and your local DA!! I am also sending letters to these people..................

Green Tree payments update

#3Author of original report

I called after not sleeping last night because I researched as much as I could.I asked for an address to mail my letter to know who held my mortgage.I heard stuttering, was told they did.NO they are a service provider.Everbank still holds my mortgage.I checked on my insurance info and warned them if they dropped mine for any time that the AG office would go after them because I live in an area devasted by Katrina.I asked about missing payments again and then told them that the DA and the AG has been in touch with me that I know a lot more than I did on Friday.Well right before hanging up and saying I would call back tomorrow to check on things I was told that my account was just updated and THEY FOUND MY MISSING PAYMENTs!! Just letting them know I talked to the Attorney General and the DA did something.I told the guy there are many lawsuits out there and that I know they sit on payments.I will be damned if they think they will take my house.I will put my money on a prepaid visa card each month and pay them like that now.I thought wired money was the safest way for proof but these people are getting away with so much. With them taking from the prepaid card I def have proof they got.Don't let them take from your checking account and if you do send payment, send certified mail so they have to sign.Check your courthouse for any activity on your mortgage, google your name and search your name in your local paper. They are famous for robo signing and stealing peoples homes.SOMEBODY IN WASHINGTON NEEDS TO SHUT THESE PEOPLE DOWN AND I WONT STOP TRYING TO HELP WITH THAT!

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS...AND ASSERT YOUR RIGHTS!

#3Consumer Suggestion

Mon, July 21, 2014

Hello rl0tgrl and other customers that have had their rights violated by Green Tree,

I routinely look for posts to answer in hopes that it will not only bring optimism to those homeowners and borrowers in distress but also some basic information to assist in fighting the banks like Bank of America or Wells Fargo that are "too big to fail" but yet don't appreciate the bailout that we provided in their time of need.  The debt collectors like SPS, SLS, Green Tree, Ocwen and Nationstar are simply just scumbags but they can be beat at their own game too just like the big banks can be defeated.

It pains me that you have fallen victim to the unfair, deceptive and abusive practices of Green Tree but I commend you for asserting your rights...too often homeowners do not fight for their consumer and constitutional rights!  With that said, I would like to shed some light on just how important it is to take your fight outside of the mortgage lender or servicer to the CFPB and/or other government agencies that will actually hold the lender or mortgage servicer accountable on your behalf by simply submitting a complaint after a proper QWR; you do have rights and I would be more than happy to educate you as to how to fight for your rights.  My firm routinely seeks out complaints online so that we can educate as to how to fight back on our weekday show called "The Daily Complaint" where we review a complaint and how to tackle it successfully.

We reviewed your complaint on the show if you would like to listen, click here.

Our firm presently has many files that we are working on with mortgage lenders and servicers with many more coming in daily complaining of the same UDAAP abuses such as yours.  In fact, I have at least half a dozen cases in my office right now that we are working on that also have RESPA and Dodd-Frank (CFPB) violations preventing them from modification and threatening foreclosure; we receive at least 2 or 3 calls per day on this topic.  We are pleased to state that we beat the mortgage lenders and debt collectors at their own game daily by referencing consumer protection laws and employing the help of government agencies that oversee the industry like CFPB, OCC, HUD and the FTC to name a few.

You can contact me via email or website or via phone as I would be more than happy to contact Green Tree on your behalf to ensure your rights are not further violated and uncover options moving forward.

My firm, END Consulting, is a full service strategic debt and credit consulting firm started in 2006 with expertise is debt negotiations coupled with an exceptional track record of strategic consulting to include the real estate industry with a formidable business foundation.  We have successfully assisted over a hundred clients in the past year alone in achieving desired results with regards to their mortgage loan(s) by stripping down the validity of the debt and forcing the lender or servicer to work with our clients to provide ethical, legal and affordable mortgage workout solutions.  The results that we negotiated for our clients were not on the table for most when we took on the client as it took regulatory muscle and aggressive communication to achieve the desired debt restructuring resolutions.

I would be happy to elaborate for you or anyone reading this as we always offer free consultation until we can determine if we can assist you to include contacting the bank and/or servicer for you for free to uncover the options that exist for you in this situation. You can reach me via email at Dana at ConsultingEND dot com or via the web at ConsultingEND dot com. I have had the pleasure of restructuring millions of dollars in debt and helping hundreds of homeowners...my firm is exceptional at what we do!

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's END
