I purchased a "Last Exit" 19-inch toy airplane glider at a Dollar Tree in Panama City Beach, FL.  The plane is manufactured and distributed by Agressive Development Int'l Ltd, Hong Kong, China.

The plane is described as a glider called "Last Exit", has a 19" wing span, plastic launcher, aerodynamic shape and impact resistant nose.  It comes with instructions on the back of the package explaing in 3 steps how to construct and fly the plane.

My complaint is simple: the glider DOES NOT FLY. It is basically a cardboard cut-out in which you slide the wing and elevator in place and then launch using a plastic handle and rubber band.  It goes about 5 feet and drops like a rock.  Hand launching it, the glider goes up to a height of about 8 feet and then falls like a rock out of the sky. It has absolutely no characteristics of a glider or plane flying.  It flys more like 3 pieces of heavy cardboard that goes as far as you can through 3 pieces of cardboard.

I know it costs only $1.00, but it should do as advertised.  It would be a better product if they sold a sheet of paper, with instructions how to fold and launch, for $1.00.  They need to take this product off the shelf immediately.

Dollar Tree has an open exchange policy. It doesn't matter if you already opened the product. You can take it back and exchange it for anything in the store. Even if you don't need anything else, or refuse to shop there anymore, you could always get a cold soda to replace your non-working glider. The store will have to take the hit for the damaged product. This product was most likely made for children. I would think, regardless of how it flew, it would entertain any kid for at least half an hour.
