The town of Greene Ny is ripping of the people with price gouging the electrical bill. This department when asked what the Res PPA additional charge is becomes hostel and can not explain how they figure out this additional charge. The winter of 2012 was the mildest and yet we are still charged an over usage fee? This company should be audited by Ny State or brought to court on price gouging. There is no other choices to select power giving a spending town to charge residents what they feel like charging. I have contacted my lawyer to investigate and force an audit on this company. Please contact your senator or lawyer if you believe this is a scam by a select few to price gouge at will.

In other words the town owns, maintains and provides the electrical power. Don't just ask some clerk, expecting a good answer and then go off all bent out of shape. It's very unlikely your own town is "Ripping you off."

Sure you did..and what is this lawyers name and what did he say? You know you're accusing a company that YOU have an interest in, of fraud, theft, deception and probably collusion....don't you?
Usually, the back of a utility bill explains the charges and you can ask for a rate chart. What have you done, other than going ballistic?
