GREENLIGHT FINANCIAL SERVICES DECEPTIVE SALES TACTICS ARE ALIVE AND WELL HERE IRVINE, California
WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF? Want to waste your time sending them hundreds of documents with no results....then go to this company that specializes in deceptive sales tactics. Called a employee called VICTOR QUEZADA in early january to refinance my home. My wife and I have a stellar credit score between 780-800, we have more that a 25 % equity in our home, we have more than enough cash assets to pay off our mortage many times over.
VICTOR QUEZADA promised us a No Cost loan, to refinance our home. He said all we have to do is pay for the appraisal...350.00 and he will reimburse us...so it will be truly no cost. He sent me a GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE that specified all the terms. I gave him all the information in the beginning , clearly told him that i also have a condo in LA, but my son pays for the mortgage. I told VICTOR I dont want to get an appraisal until and unless he is 100% sure that I will be approved for the re-fi.
He confirmed that i will indeed qualify and be approved and to go ahead with the appraisal for which I paid 350.00> For the next many weeks, VICTOR and his assistant KATHY demanded all kinds of documents which I submitted...including bank statements that proved that my son was paying for the condo Los Angeles. Even received an e mail from KATHY stating that my loan was conditionally approved. I SPENT MANY, MANY HOURS SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS TO THIS COMPANY. Finally, after many weeks, I got a email from VICTOR demanding that I should pay an additional 400.00 to have the investor look at the documents and I SHOULD ALSO RE-FI MY CONDO WITH GREENLIGHT.
I refused...and once I did this, all communication from Greenlight stopped, they did not return my calls. THIS IS A CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH......if Greenlight wanted additional funds and if there were any pre-conditions for also refinancing my LA condo, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISCLOSED IN THE BEGINNING, NOT AT THE END......I DEMAND A REFUND OF THE APPRAISAL FEE, RETURN ALL THE DOCUMENTS AND REIMBURSE ME FOR MY TIME THAT WAS WASTED.

After my complaint, the manager, Cory called me, apologized and agreed to refund the appraisal fee of 350.00 and he returned most of my documents. Thanks to Rip Off Report, my problem was quickly solved and I dropped the idea of going to small claims court. Thanks again
