I contracted with Long Island Custom Windows LLC to install Renewal by Anderson replacement windows. The Renewal by Anderson Window Salesman came to my house, took measurements and priced out 18 replacement windows which came to about $30k. He offered a special financing program from GreenSky and I applied on his Ipad. I thought it was like a credit card and he did not disclosed the terms of this program.
The enrollment form on the Ipad was lengthy and I made the mistake of signing off on a financing program that was beyond predatory. The interest rate of 5.99% is not adjustable and even if I pay off the $22k that remains, I still pay all the interest. Beware of GreenSky. It should be disclosed to you as soon as you apply what the terms are.
This is predatory lending at it's finest. I am looking to pay off my balance and I ask for the interest rate to be adjusted.
