These people are thieves. They deducted my house payment without my authorization. It caused a multitude of problems. I had called and told them I would mail a check on a certain day, but they went ahead and debited my checking account which cause me to have many, many, returned checks + fees. A total of $216 worth of overdraft charges alone not to mention the charges for returned items to the people I wrote checks to.

When I called Tammy, in the Dallas office, she told me not to worry about it that they would reimburse me for all the bank charges when they were all in. I sent my bank statement to them to show where the charges came out. Meanwhile, my check is somewhere out there but they do not know where. The refused to pay me back my $216 and claimed that they had proof I authorized it.

Well, the proof they have is false because when I authorize this at times, it is authorized for the 1st day of the month. The authorization they are claiming says the 31st.

These people are unethical in every sense of the word. The have no compassion or understanding. I have dealt with these people almost 15 years and it has been miserable. e-mail me if you understand.

After having a Plethora of problems with Greentree/Conseco/Greentree including the harrassing phone calls, screaming fits (from mainly Conseco),nasty messages left at every # we've ever dialled from (yes they must keep some kind of log),threats of foreclosure, even papers from the sherriff (that were delivered 3 weeks late because they dont pay their bills on time)on a previously resolved issue. They even went as far as to again call every # and harrass a family member to remitt to them a check for 42 dollars, which was owed because of their error as thry didnt take the amount of the payment for some unknown reason. Is this ethical practices by a financial company? Well the newest thing they are doing now is why I write this. Now they do complete thievery and fraud via the SpeedPay check by phone. For 3 weeks straight they have taken upon thereselves to clean my checking account to the point of overdraft causing any number of checks to bounce. They know when my check hits the account and they hit it right after. Leaving my account in the red has forced me not to pay any other bills, since I gave them 2 whole checks in the weeks before the mentioned 3 illegal withdrawls. If your counting thats 2 weeks of full payments and then some and 3 weeks of payments that were NOT authorized and cost hundreds of dollars in overdraft fees. These occurences happened also at the St. Paul Minn. office only. I sympathize with Clayton, TX if they have to deal with the same office I have to. I am currently trying to find a different lender, but after reading all the other posts I'm apprehensive, sounds like they can make it difficult if not costly. I will be lodging my own complaint on this site and every agency I can think of.
