I was relieved to see that I am not the only one who is being harrassed and ripped off by this company. If there is anyone who can give me some advice or information to my problem I would more than welcome it.

I bought my doublewide in 1994 and re-financed with GreenTree in 1998. My original loan amount was for 45,000 for 15 years. My payments are 630.00 a month.I became disabled in 1999 and had to file bankruptcy on medical bills ONLY.

I kept making payments on my home and I will admit I got behind once ot twice but always caught back up quickly.I came into some money and got myself well ahead and called for a payoff in 2001.After several rude phonecalls I finally was mailed a payoff of 39,000. In 2002 I went to refinance and found that since the bankruptcy GreenTree no longer showed on my credit report nor that I ever had an account through them. After calling for a new payoff thinking the amount may have slightly changed I find that my payoff is now 45,000.

I married and continued to pile extra payments on this loan. This year in 2006 my spouse and I went to purchase a new doublewide using this as downpayment and to get money to payoff GreenTree. The mobile home place ran a credit report and out of the blue Greentree shows on there as of 2005 that I bankrupted on my home.Of course she said this is a big No-No. I never bankrupted and have been making my regular payments to GreenTree since 2009. A retaining letter was sent to them in 1999 but after many idiotic people I was told by GreenTree with all the chenging hands with their company they have nothing on me since 2005.And in a very hateful way i was told my payoff is now 62,000!!! They have no record of 6 of my 9 payments I have made this year alone.I am at my wits end and on the edge of a nervous breakdown with these stupid people.

On top of all this I was released my original title where GreenTree was never a lienholder. They never signed my title!!! I have the original!! What can I do?Why is my payoff continuing to increase? What have they done with all my records and documents and phone conversations acceptong these extra payments?? I am thinking of getting an attorney because according to my credit report GreenTree was paid and it shows I bankrupted. Now they are getting paid a second time since 1999 from me. Ive had it with these folks!! Noone knows anything.

I cannot believe how the complaints keep rolling in since I posted on here.I finally have taken enough from this company and now have an attorney.Since my last post my payoff has grown from 62,000 to over 65,000.Of course I am not getting any proof other than them saying I owe this amount for legal fees, late fees, and insurance.I havent been late in years and what are these legal fees?I have my own insurance.I would love to find a way to file a class action as would many of you that Ive read on here.Any ideas on how to get one going? It looks as though GT is going to change their names from a "mortgage" company to a "credit collections" agency. We need to act fast before they change their names once again.Since I have been with them they have gone from GreenPoint to Conseco to GreenTree back to Conseco and now GreenTree once again.
