GreenTree ripoff, can't explain why principal isn't going down Saint Paul Minnesota
Greentree has bought out CIT Mortgage company recently. At least with CIT I could see exactly what they applied to the principal every month. With Greentree I realized after paying them for the past four months not one penny has been paid off of the principal.
The reason they said it because you have to pay exactly every 30 days. I sent the June payment in May (EARLY) and I got penalized for it!! I sent the July payment when it was due. I said you mean because the bill wasn't spaced out the 30 days it all goes to you? They said yes and went on about some rip off interest calculation. I've never heard of such a thing in my life. I pay my bills on time and early if I can; in this case I'm punished for it????
The bottom line since April when they took over CIT I've paid them $691.00 and not one penny has gone to the principal. The payments were never late and even early. I'm so mad writing on this site is a release for me.
