Complaint Review: Greenwich stars basketball

The Greenwich Stars number one concern is making money and fooling parents into having their kids join their team by boasting undefeated records and C league championships. Week in and week out they put their teams against the weakest competition around so that their team can win and they can advertise "We are the national champions!" That same National Championship team played in the House of Sports B league this past winter and sure enough, they won that too! Why would a National Championship team play in the B league? So that they can go undefeated and continue to attract more parents that think their son is joining the best team around. Show me a pay to play team that goes undefeated in Westchester and I'll show you a team that didnt step outside of their comfort zone and play tough comp. You're undefeated?? Why don't you play your teams against the Gauchos, Riverside Hawks, The Rens, or even an A level local team. Losing a game now and then will allow your kids to learn lessons, grow as young men, and grow as a team. Going undefeated is not reality, but I suppose it is a good way to trick the customer.
