Basically a local coterie of engineers/developers control everything. Although he looks nice, he's full of mind games and a sexist bully. Knows enough about everything to keep his little empire going. Ruinous towards his enemies and scheming toward anyone outside, his favorite day was court day so he could file liens. He even tries to prevent former employees from collecting unemployment & he won't provide anything in the way of a referral. That was my experience with him. What I learned is these types prevent many ambitious talented self-instructive others at bay through their endless fictional gatekeeping devices, till you are forced to realize that it is just as if you are Marley's chess piece in the greatest game, the international cross-border trade, and all so that ultimately Scrooge could patronizingly state, "Well done, Cratchit!"

Thanks for keeping the column

It's been 8 months after resigning at the Examiner.com, and I kept thinking they would try to retaliate, so it seems rather magnanimous of them to keep up my column. The articles have helped to enhance my work portfolio, and this is of great benefit also when networking. You realize this in hindsight, that no matter what anyone else says, if what you do reflects your efforts, and you tried your best, it can't help but look all right.

Another thing is that it is partly my personality that I have to dig deep and do a lot of research, and this is part of the learning curve, so Examiner.com may not have exactly like my publishing only a few articles, no more than three per month. That's kind of slow in the news industry.
