I am a contractor, working on the new Steinmart at 2490 S. Colorado Blvd.  We have been trying to bring in more power to the store. We need a new pole and transformer installed.  The owner, Judd and Co., has paid Excel Energy, $24,000, more than a month ago, to get this done. This store is to open Nov.1.  We need this power to open the store. It takes 30 days to stock the store, and get it ready for the opening.

That takes us to Oct.1. I called Mickey this morning and got nowhere. She seemed aggitated and uncooperative when I asked her about what the schedule for power would be. After a fairly heated discussion, she gave me her bosses phone number.  His name is Greg Holmes.  I called him, and didn't get a call back. My electrician tells me that he has been getting the runaround like this for over a month.

This store opening might not be important to these Excel people, but it's very to many other people. This store will employ over 100 local Denver people.  The sales tax alone will be a very large number. We have 2 weeks to get this pole and transformer installed, or Steinmart will postpone the opening until April.  What a shame that would be.

Why can't we get a pole and transformer installed that has been paid for, for over a month? Mickey and Greg don't seem to care.

Would somebody please read this and try to help me open this store on time?
