Gregg Brennan, Attoney at Law Gregg Brennan This man calls himself a lawyer, he is a scam artist and a liar ! Summerfield Florida
I hired this man to do a simple small claims action. He works out of his nasty house with toys all over and a real dirty/nasty smelly mess, this should be a real red flag to anyone to stay away from this loser. He told me he used to be a prosecutor so that obviously did not work out well for him as now he is trying to be a lawyer on his own. It takes more then a law degree to be a good lawyer of any kind. The Judge thought he was a lousy lawyer as did my wife and I. He did not present any evidence that was given to him by me personally. He is so bad that the judge shook his head at his obvious disbelief at his misrepresentation of us. I lost several thousand dollars as a direct result of his complete incompetence! I have filed a Bar complaint against this so-called lawyer for his actions, some of which I have outlined here. Then weeks after the trial he has the nerve to send me another bill after we paid him thousands of dollars for basically nothing. He wanted 115 dollars more, when I told him he was not worth any money let alone all the money he was paid, which by the way he said we were entitled to get back if we win, which was a lie and he knew it! I said, "hell no, not a dime more," so he started sending harassing emails to us every day, ten or more a day.
Then today he went onto this web site and lied, (slandered) about me and a company I used to work with just to get even. He used a made up name of "Paul Graff, " what an idiot he his. He now says he did not do that but it has ALL the same lies he told me in his emails. I have been involved in one way or another with the legal system. First, as a Magistrate in the 1970's and then in the 80's I was appointed by two different governors for two 5-years terms each and as a special prosecutor. I was a paralegal in 1969 before the designation was even being used while I was in law school. I think I am qualified enough to say this man is NO lawyer! He may in fact have gone to law school and may even have a degree, but he cannot practice law worth a s---t. Sorry, just the truth and everyone needs to know it. He is a Liar, a Slanderer, Criminal Harasser and a Thief as he is so bad of a lawyer he is taking people's money and not giving proper representation, so that's a scam in my personal opinion. Stay as far away from this self-confessed lawyer as you can get, unless you want to lose.

Rantings of a Dissatsified Client

I was hired by Mr. Dennis A. Brady to handle a small claims action. That much of his rant is true, and the rest are all lies from someone who apparently has some deep-seated personal issues and a grudge against me for some reason despite the fact I actually got him a judgment in his favor after the trial.
Mr. Brady was present at the pre-trial conference as well as the defendant in his small claims case. He was present during the mediation that was held in an attempt to settle his case that day. Suffice it to say that Mr. Brady was ill prepared to settle the matter as he did not have the documentation with him to support much of what he claims he lost out on and he never provided that evidence to me, even after being advised to do so on both the day of the mediation and in a subsequent e-mail prior to the discovery cut off date that the court had imposed. Mr. Brady would like you to believe that the judge would have happily considered evidence that was not submitted to the defendant prior to the deadline imposed by the court, but the fact he believes this is true indicates how far out of his depth he is when it comes to the practice of law.
Mr. Brady not only failed to provide me with evidence to support his case, he also failed to provide me with proper witness names, other than those of his wife. It was only through my investigation that I found out the proper witnesses to subpoena on his behalf and have them appear at trial. The cost for having those witnesses served was one hundred fifteen dollars and my office advanced those costs figuring that Mr. Brady would adhere to the contract he signed with my office in which he agreed to pay for all costs associated with his case, including process server costs. I submitted a bill from the process server once and Mr. Brady ignored it. On my second attempt I received an e-mail from Mr. Brady asking "why should I pay this". I explained to Mr. Brady that he signed a contract with my office in which he agreed to pay for costs expended by my office in pursuit of his case. Mr. Brady then proceeded to launch into complaints about my representation and made threats to slander my office all over the internet which he has apparently made good on based upon his various postings.
In considering the veracity of Mr. Brady's claims, as opposed to my version of the events, you may want to consider that Mr. Brady has a history of having to be pursued in court for money owed by him. He has at least one current lawsuit pending in Marion County where he is being pursued for failure to pay rent on a business rental. It is case number 42-2013-CF-000794. He also has another case, again for failure to pay rent and otherwise live up to a contract that was filed in Marion County as well, 42-2012-CA-004564. Mr. Brady also had a misdemeanor charge of issuing a worthless check filed against him in Alachua County, Florida as well. 2008-MM-003129 is the case number and Mr. Brady apparently escaped prosecution by finally paying the amount owed on the worthless check.
My office on the other hand has an A- raiting with the Better Business Bureau and during the thirteen years I have been practicing law I have not received a single bar complaint. I am a licensed to practice not only in all the state courts in Florida, including the Florida Supreme Court, but also in two of the three federal court districts in Florida, the federal 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. I have successfully represented hundreds of clients over the years and Mr. Brady is the only one who seems to have a problem, so that should tell you a great deal more about him than about me. Take his claims with one GIANT grain of salt.
