Contracted with this firm to stall eviction process so alternative housing could be found.  Made 2 payments of $695 and $596 before suspicion was aroused that nothing was being done to earn the fees. I never did get a 3 DAY Notice that would have started the eviction process. I asked repeatedly for any documents that were produced on my behalf to stall the process. Nothing was given. I stopped any further bank account withdrawals from this company.

I would recommend not using any of these companies until a eviction notice is received This company colected 2 moths of feees and did absolutely nothing as contracted.

Client Secretly working with Bank after hiring us to fight them

On September 26th, 2016 Chase Bank with the Trustee Quality Loan Service auctioned off Edwin Bullis's home for lack of payment.  Mr. Bullis informed us he had not made a payment in 4 years.  The auction took place and the home was foreclosed on and since no investor purchased the home, Bank of America took the home back.

Gregory Krueger contacted Mr. Bullis on September 27th, 2016 informing him of the foreclosure and inquiring if he needed more time in the home.  After explaining the process of Eviction Defense and giving Mr. Bullis a time frame of 6 to 8 months at a cost of $595.00 a month plus any court runner fees, he agreed to have us begin work.

Mr. Bullis accepted the terms of our agreement and sent his signed contract on September 27th, 2016.  We immediately called the courts to see if any action was filed for Unlawful Detainer.  Mr. Bullis notified us that a realtor came over and informed him of the foreclosure.  Accounting went to work setting up a file for Mr. Bullis and the paralegals also created a full case file, all of the preliminary documents that were going to be used, and a schedule of 2 calls per week to the courts was implemented to check on any filings.

The paralegals then created the Qualified Written Request on Mr. Bullis's behalf on September 29th, 2016 and sent this to the Bank and the Trustee.  The Qualified Written Request sent out, questions the validity of the foreclosure as well as demanding certain legal documents to prove the Trustee Sale was valid.  The paralegals then prepared a Welcome Packet with information on how to proceeed as well as documents that were prepared for the client to sign for the 6-8 month time frame to keep client in his home.  The Welcome Packet and legal documents for signatures were sent out on October 4th, 2016.  We received back from Mr. Bullis his signed documents on October 11th, 2016 indicating his approval for us to move forward with work.

Unknown to us at this point, Mr. Bullis was privately negotiating with the Bank who had foreclosed on the house, to pay him for moving out at an agreed upon date.  We continued to call the courts twice a week to check on any filings, the wait times to connect with the state court is usually 15 to 30 minutes each call for this court specifically.

On November 29th, 2016 Mr. Bullis revealed he was given an offer from the Bank to receive funds for moving out.  He stated he was not taking this offer and to proceed with taking his payment for Eviction Defense work.  Accounting was informed that Mr. Bullis's payment was rejected by the bank, he claimed it was a bank error and to try and pull payment again.  We tried payment again and it was rejected for a second time.

On December 6th, 2016 we received the required 30 Day Cancellation Notice from Mr. Bullis and alerted accounting and the paralegals continued working on his case until January 6th, 2017.  Even though we were not paid for the previous month's work, we can only assume that he took the bank's offer for funds, without notifying us.  Soon after Mr. Bullis emailed and demanded a full refund of all of his money or he would put damaging reviews about us on various sites.

It is unfortunate that Mr. Bullis does not think that the hard working employees at Gregory & Gregory need to be paid for their work.  It was suggested that we just pay him off to make this go away, but after careful consideration we decided not to be bullied or blackmailed and stand up for our company and our staff.

We believe we provided Mr. Bullis excellent service.  He was not upfront and truthful about his intentions from the beginning and tried to take advantage of this situation.  We only ask that you view the many testimonials on stop bank eviction.com or on the reputable site Yelp.com to assist you in choosing a company to help you through these difficult times.
