This man refuses to pay for child support because he can't see his child. He has all the opportunity in the world and doesn't care to see his child. He says that he can't. doen't call and expects me to go to houston at the drop of a dime. blames me for every thing. Hey, I didn't force him to move.

I WISH I COULD SAY THAT I DON'T HAVE ANY PENT UP ANGER, BUT I DO. HE MOVED BECAUSE HE ACCUALLY HAD TO GET A JOB, AND HE FELT THAT THE ONLY PLACE THAT HE COULD GET IT WAS IN HOUSTON. BUT, THE REAL THING THAT BURNS ME IS THAT HE HASNT SEEN MY SON SINCE HE WAS 5 MOS. OLD AND FLAT OUT REFUSES TO PAY FOR CHILD SUPPORT. I UNDERSTOOD WHEN HE WAS JUST STARTING OUT IN HIS JOB AND NEEDED TO GET SETTLED, BUT TWO YEARS, AND LESS THAN 2 CALLS THIS YEAR, HE STILL REFUSES TOO PAY. NOW IF I WAS WELL OFF AND DIDN'T HAVE TO LIVE PAYCHECK TO PAY CHECK EVERYTHING WOULD BE FINE. I WOULDN'T BOTHER HIM AND HE PROBABLY WOULD NEVER CALL. BUT THAT MONEY WOULD SERIOUSLY HELP. IF I HAD THE MONEY I WOULD GO DOWN THERE AND LET HIM SEE OUR SON. BUT WHAT AM I TO DO IF HE DOESN'T SHOW ANY INTEREST IN OUR SON?

As a father living out of state from my son, I can understand this issue. However, it seems you still have anger issues toward the father (Hey, I didn't force him to move). No, you probably didn't, but what WAS the reason he moved? Was it because his job moved? Did he find a better job? And why does him living in TX have to stop him from seeing his child? Can't you compromise? How old is the child, can they fly on a plan by themselveS? My son comes from IL to NJ by himself.
Does your ex have visitation rights? Did you ever not allow him to see your child? There are more issues at play here than you post, so please in the future, do not try to place blame only on the father because you can.
