Groomin Tails Pet Salon Well I Never!!!! Montgomery Alabama
I have been taking my dog Curly Midget to this groomer for the last year. This last time, the girl lied about being his groomer, because she didn't want to tell me my regular groomer was no longer working there, so an hour and a half after I drop him off I get a call to come and get him.
He can be difficult at times, he mats, he is old and cranky and he doesn't particularly like being groomed. He was only a quarter of the way groom and the salon still charged me $40 for the services, saying they were well within their rights to charge me for their time. This is not the standard in grooming, if you don't finish you don't get paid, but being who I am I paid the money anyway.
When I made it clear I had a problem with the way I had been treated the groomer sent me a very rude response saying the only time they got dogs so bad off they had been neglected and abandoned.
I located my regular groomer through social media and she will be finishing my dog.
It would have been better to tell me the truth, to treat me like I am valuable and to take ownership and responsibility for the problem we experienced. Instead of conflict resolution I got excuses and insults. When did it become okay for companies to treat customers this way?
