Grossman Chevrolet sells themselves as the number one Corvette dealer in the state of Minnesota. So because of their advertising I sent my wrecked Corvette that was damaged on 6/16 to their Body Shop not knowing that I would have issue after issue with their Body Shop Mgr. and the quality or their work.

On 10/17 of 2003 I picked up my car for the last time because I will not ever return my 2000 Corvette Coupe to their Body Shop. Now that I have my car back, I have had to remove the hoodseal that was installed incorrectly taking an afternoon of my time. I plan to bill Grossman for the repair I did but I wouldn't hold my breath of getting paid.

The work was poor and the work was very timely. I had to bring the car back multible times to get items repaired. I had to fight to get item repaired and still have items not completely repaired. I found wires that were not repaired, I found missing bolts and screws. To sum up Grossman took far more time then needed to repair the car, they charged more then what I would see as fair, they charged my insurance company for repairs to items they fixed incorrectly in the first place like a leaky roof.

Grossman hopes that the customer is not technical enough to question their work and don't like someone with half a brain more than them to inspect their work and point out their mistakes or demand the work to be done correctly.

Grossman service quoted me two diffrent amounts for a leaky seal; one month it was $2100 and a few months later it is $1500 dollars for a job that would run me later $700 at a non GM shop but a shop that work only with Vette's.
