This group of sales people seem friendly enough but as they begin their presentation drawing boxes and talking talking and drawing their boxes.....beware!

They assure you actually they GUARANTEED me I could rent my units for $1800 per week and would even get my maintenance fee returned once the rental was made....

I asked them to put in writing... they refused even though they guaranteed me. Then they too me to another room and this is where the finance guy told me and them they under NO circumstances is any of this true... It is here that I learned they charged my credit card over 2 hours ago.... THIS IS BEFORE THEY EVEN HAD A SIGNED CONTRACT. (which by the way I never signed)

When I began to question them they became more and more aggressive and in fact disturbed and their tone of voice and friendly smile.

The difference in the deal amounted to $18,000. They then took me to another room and offered to pay my current time share maintenance fees for 10 years. A $10,000 value. then they offered to send us on a cruise for two, A $1,000 value and to top it off offered us 10 years to come back to their resorts for only paying the maintenance fee up front.....

Add up all the other offers and we were only a few $1000 dollars apart..... Go figure!!!!! I suggested that they role this into my original deal and I would still buy..... they said thanks but no thanks!!!!!

Believe me, a free breakfast and some discounts sound great however, it is not worth losing a whole days vacation speaking with these CROOKS!!!!

I've spent a lot of money and i was scammed by other companies trying to cancel my timeshare. My advice is that if you're going to hire a company to help you with the problem, DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT, because it use to be a fraud. I did a research on internet and i found some interesting articles, i recommend you to read this one:

Mayan Palace sales tactics are hardcore and they will tell you anything you want to hear to get you into the contract and keep you in contract with them, and dealing with Mayan Palace after the purchase of your timeshare can be a little frustrated. Especially because customer service won’t get you the answers you expect to get when it comes on how to use your timeshare or trying to Book your next vacations, lucky if you are able to do book anything. I recommend you to read this article from Mexican Timeshare Solutions on how most of these scams are being committed: Mayan Palace Timeshare Scam

Just how did they get your credit card before you were completely happy with all aspects of the deal? That was mistake number 1 to 100. NEVER NEVER NEVER give a credit card to a salesperson until you are completely satisfied.

Now... if you did not give your credit card to them then they either stole it or forged your signature. Either way you should dispute the charge with your credit card company immediately.
