GS Gunsmith This guy wants more money for not doing the job right the first time and won't give me back my gun Ramsey Minnesota
I brought in a .22 Marlin that was not ejecting properly...I was told the bolt rod follower or something like that was bent.
After paying $60 I was assured the gun was functioning properly now...when I tested it out it was still having the same issue, not ejecting.
I brought it back and left it...after about 45 days I called to see where it was at...I was told he was very busy and my gun was next in line to be looked at.
About a week later I got a voicemail saying all three of the magazines I brought in were no good...when I came in to pick up the gun he wanted to charge me another $25.
I told him that was not right or fair as he should of fixed it right the first time.
He then got very rude and threatened to physically throw me out.
I called the Ramsey Police Department and was advised to take this to civil court.
I also wanted to share this experience with other potential customers for GS Gunsmith...Beware!

Scott, the owner and I had a very good educational discussion concerning my .22 Marlin.
He took the extra time to explain to me in layman terms just exactly what the problem was and why.
He even went out of his way to order in an older Marlin magazine to show me the difference between the one that works and mine that didn't work.
I ended up buying the magazines from Scott and gladly paying the modest fee for his professional advice.
Good gunsmith's are getting harder and harder to find and Scott is a good one.
