Complaint Review: GSA Application Services

GSA Application Services - Federal Verification Company - federalverification.com/gsa-application.html Fraud, Sprecher Odsmar Florida

Run as fast as you can from this company! We spent $7500 and have been "working" with them for almost one year on a contract that will never be submitted. They will falsify information, push you around from employee to employee (who conveniently will not be in the office or no longer work there) and make false statements about the service they provide. I know the GSA process seems daunting but the ACTUAL GSA Contracting Officers (GSA.Gov) will work with you to get your contract approved for
free. This company clearly uses tactics to confuse people and come across as though they are actually a necessary part of the process. We have worked with over 20 people thorough out the year, lost our money, and STILL do not have a GSA contract.

They are being investigated by the Florida Attorney General and I am putting together information to help businesses to not get in the same situation we did. The government needs to do something to stop these companies from ripping off innocent people. Please feel free to contact me for more information.

I'm curious to know exactly what you did at GSA Applications?  I know several people who work there and they don't see ads.  Where do these ads you were selling appear?

I worked there for a short period of time but got a glimpse of what they are doing.  When renewing an add they would have all this information as to how many hits their web site was getting from various federal buyers.  every time some one had Google Analytical- a program that actually tracks where the hits are coming from, the numbers didn't jive at all.  When mentioned this to another sale person he seemed to be well aware of this.  I also had a customer agree to a $3900 full page add and was immediately fired without explanation which i belleve was  to avoid paying commissions.

I am commenting from the perspective of someone GSA recently tried to hire for a Sales position at thier Tampa Headquarters!

My Reputation and integrity is more important than the big money they promise you can make as a commission only salesperson. So I will not be accepting the position that was offered to me within 20 minutes of walking through the door, Here's why,.

First, there Corp office in Tampa/Oldsmar Fl is one Building with several addresses. I see some reports and complaints with the address of 3925, 3875 as the location to thier office.  I was directed to 4033 Tampa Rd but it took me 20 mins to figure out which door was the right one to enter? Big Red Flag!

My immediate suspicions began as soon as i walked in and was asked if I had a Resume and when i indicated i did, the receptionist took back the employment application, highlighted 4 areas of the application(Name, Address, Phone # and Signature) and almost immediately out of nowhere had someone greet me and take me into a private room. In short the interview consisted of me being told about the astronomical amount of money that could be made, 150k - 250k a year and that all it took was persistence and a Hunter mentality. What made me really question this opportunity was at the end of the interview they brought into the office, supposedly the Top Sales Producer/Sales manager who i was told made 280k+ dollars for for a few years straight but to look at this individual you could not distinguish his quarter of a million dollar earnings from someone panhandling in the street, he litterally looked like a bum.

I'm pretty astute at sensing when something is not right with a company. I also verified that there is an active investigation into this companies practices by the state of Florida. Certainly not a company I want to work for or do business with!

Beware!

Our company just signed with these guys. So far, we are in the "review" process, but after reading all of this stuff, I'm VERY concerned. I have been speaking with a guy named Bill Welsh from GSA Processors 3925 Tampa Road in Oldsmar Fl. Is this the same company??? Freaked out.

GSA Application Services Federal Buyers Guide, GSA Application Services-Greenville, SC, GSA Application Services-Pittsburgh, PA, Federal Suppliers Guide, GSA Application Services-Tampa and Oldsmar, FL Florida Attorney General states GSA Application will call all companies they have bilked to offer refunds Seattle, Washington

GSA Application Services, Federal Suppliers Guide, GSA Application Services, Greenville, SC, GSA Application Services, Pittsburgh, PA.  I spoke with Bob Mahlburg, the Florida Attorney General who is actively Investigating GSA Application Services (Oldsmar and Tampa) has stated that we, small businesses, will be receiving a call from GSA Application Services offering to refund us monies for services they never rendered.  Somehow they suppose to "voluntarily" contact all of us to offer us a refund.  If you paid GSA Application Services ANY money and never received service please contact the Florida Attorney General who is actively investigating this company.

A huge story is about to break on this company according to a friend of a friend who was also bilked as he knows folks in Washington, D.C. and who work for the  media so watch out for info on this company who has dogged so many struggling small businesses.

If you have never filed a complaint about this company taking your money please contact the Florida Attorney General personally.  he will confirm that this company is absolutely being investigated and the investigation is ongoing.  His contact info is:

Please past this info to all small businesses that have lost money and received no service from this company.  There are many over the years who are in this category.  I understand that some others are now beginning to call the Attorney General in Pennsylvania and South Carolina to lodge complaints against this company as they change names and move around constantly.

We spoke with the Attorney General and they have now stated that all companies who paid GSA Application Services money but never received any services (which include thousands of companies) should be receiving calls from their representative to offer you partial refunds.  If you have not yet contacted the Attorney General about being taken by this company please contact him at the number below:

GSA Application Services are in many new cities now, Greenville, SC, Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX.  I read someone has a friend in the media who is about to break a story on this company soon so stay tuned.  DO NOT bite when and if this company calls and solicit business from you.  If they are being actively investigated then that should be enough information for you to stay completely away from doing business with them.  Dont take my word, call the Florida Attorney General for yourself.
