Since February, 2006, when I signed up for information for SBA Express from GSA SBA I have been charged fees to my credit card for Grantwriter Pro, Network Agenda and GSA/SBA Express, monthly charges for either $29.95, $7.95 or $5.95.. Shortly after signing up for their CD on their website, I was contacted by a sales representative offering grant writing services for a high cost. I let her know that I was not interested in other services, just the CD for SBA Express.

Up until today I wasn't aware of the charges, since they were not unusually high. Today I was looking for a specific charge and put on my reading glasses to view my bill and noticed the charges for the three different companies. After searching for a number to call, the only listing on the first page relating to GSA SBA Express was for Rip-Off.

After reading a similar story on your site, I was able to call GSA and cancel both GSA/SBA and Grantwriter Pro, but was told that they had nothing to do with Network Agenda.

I find the practices of this company highly unethical. Once a CD is bought and a sales representative is told that no other services are required, no other charges should be made. Also, the deception in inclusion of additional services with charges put as the customer services indicated today as bonuses should be VERY CLEARLY advertised.

I make it a point to schedule cancellation of all services that include continued payment. I spoke to a sales representative prior to receiving any software. My charges should not have exceeded the charges for the CD, including shipping.

I am also disturbed that I was told that Network Agenda was not associated with GSA. I went to their website for the first time and sent an email to customer service, but I find it disturbing that the rebuttal to the other submission for GSA did not say that Network Agenda was not part of their network as I was told by customer service.

Resolution Offer

I would like to discuss Jill's concerns with her to insure that she is taken care of. Unfortunately, without a last name or an email address I cannot find her account with the necessary contact information.

I would also like to explain that there are no commitments with the free product. There is a bonus free trial period to the membership websites that accompanies the free CD and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation page and in the confirmation email. The trial period is free for 14 days and we would not have charged Jill had she cancelled during the trial period. It is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership after the free trial offer.

If you'd like to cancel using the customer service line it is 866-396-5718.

If you are another customer that is reading this and you feel that we have failed you in some way please call me directly at 435-773-1795 or email me at ryanr@wskc.org and I would be happy to address your concerns ASAP.

Sincerely,

Ryan R.
