GSI Grant service contacted me December 2005 stating I had been approved for a $6,000 Grant to pay off all my bills. They stated that it was a Grant and not a loan which I didn't have to pay back.

Being as though I am in the Military when she said Military Grant I thought for sure there was no catch but obviously I was wrong.

After about 3 weeks to a month, I called the 866 # that was given to me if I had any questions about my order. When I called it sounded so Legit like it was a real company so I thought nothing of it, she told me it would take 14-21 days from the time it was shipped out to arrive at my residence. Now it has been over a month, I called again a little upset this time and someone else told me I should have received it so she then gave me another confirmation # and said maybe I should go to the nearest postal service and see if they can locate it. Before I ended the conversation I asked for the company name thats when she told me GSI something so when I got home that night I just happened to try to look up that particular company.

When I was searching for GSI I got a few websites about it but there was one website that caught my eye which was this site (Rip-off Report.com) I clicked on the link and what do you know, this company hadn't only scammed me but many others as well. I read up on what actions I needed to take in order to get my money back.

I called the bank the next day to see what I had to do to file a dispute, they told me I would have to come in to the local office in order to file the dispute. While explaining to the bank attendant what my problem was and why I wanted to file a dispute, she was looking up my bank statements which she found the check that was electronically made by the company for the $298, not only did they take out that amount, they was taking $19.95 out of my account which was taken out 3 or 4 times. The way I found out this was happening, I got charged an over draft fee of $25.00 where they was trying to make another transaction but it wouldn't go through.

It took the bank no more than a few days to refund me the whole amount of $360 in which this company had taken from me plus the over draft fee. I have learned my lesson from this experience.
