On April 08th, I went to the mall to get cellular phones for my husband who was returning from his 2nd tour in IRAQ the following week, and myself. I came across, what I believed was a Cingular Kiosk. I signed a contract, and ended up with 3 cell phone contracts. I were given 2 phones but was told the 3rd would be in later that evening. Within a couple hours I recevied a phone call from an employeee stating my phone had NOT come in, and if I could pick it up Sunday, April 09th, 2006. When I went in on Sunday, april 09th, Daniel told me the phone was still not in. I asked for a refund and gave the 2 phones we had gotten the previous day back. UNOPENED.

I received my refund reciept and was told it would take "6-8 weeks" to get my $210.00 back. I went back a couple weeks later, with my husband and the kiosk was GONE! I called the number after 8 weeks. NO ANSWER. I called ever day for 3 weeks. There was never an answer. I wrote letters to inquire on my refund, as my husband is a Marine, and we have 7 children, money is not in an abundance in our home. I also called Cingular and they don't even have an address on file for this company.
It has been 12 weeks, and still nothing. My family lost out on an opportunity to go to Sea World, because we did NOT get our money back. I am now going to send another certified letter, to this address that probably doesn't even get mail. My next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau. I URGE you to do the same, PLEASE do NOT let this company keep getting away with ripping people off.

I was also promised a rebate for 3 of the phones. Which would have left me paying a total, $52.00. So, I would have received my rebate in 6-8 weeks from Cingular. At which time, we would have taken our trip.

I was frustrated with the CSR's and a tad bit distracted with the upcoming homecoming of my husband's unit. A lot of companies say "6-8 weeks" but it's usually NEVER that long. I didn't think anything was strange until we went back and the Kiosk was empty, and then I called the number and got no answer, each time I called and continue to call.

We had planned on going to Sea World with the money 2 months after my husband had gotten home. I had gotten most of the tickets already. We are on a budget.

I am not looking for sympathy, just stating a fact. This company owes us over 200.00. It's absolutely not right that they can do this to people. Sadly, I looked into the BBB Report and they have an F rating. Which really means nothing to the Company because they are not members.
I think my common sense tells me I had better check out companies, before I do business with them again. The worst part of this GSM Wireless is that they say they are Cingular.
If you have any helpful advice to offer, I'd be more than happy to take it.
thank you for your comment.

I cannot understand how you stated that you lost out a trip to sea world due to you could not get the refund back

If the transaction would have went according to plan, you still would not have the money due to spend it on phones,

My heart goes out to you and the fact that you got stiffed by this company, but do not say you and your family cannot take a trip due to this person taking money that you gave to them.
Common sense says if you take a product back you get your money then why would you accept 6-8 weeks that sounds like a scam
