Beware of this woman and her fake ads below! Her current name is GUADALUPE PONTE, but she has several aliases. She is a fraud and a crook, and you will NEVER earn a dime from anything she claims to teach! All you need to do to prove it is a search of Riverside County lawsuits. There you will find her history-she's been sued at least 30 times, including by a friend for a loan she never repaid. She's filed for bankruptcy at least 3 times and never pays for her leased vehicles, registrations or outstanding tickets. She has countless bench warrants for her crimes, which is why she keeps changing her identity!
You will pay thousands of dollars just to "learn" how to TATTOO, then she will claim the certificate that she promises you can't be had for another 6 months! But what's worse is you don't need a certificate to TATTOO in CA! The "kit" she includes can be purchased for $99 online. You can teach yourself on a rubber placemat, save thousands of dollars and months of wasted time and avoid ever meeting this malevolent con artist. Her "knowledge" is worthless, but she will make you pay thousands, and then she says she'll give you the answers anyway! She also offers to take the Health Dept. (blood pathogens) exam with you by sitting by the computer and giving you the answers!
She uses lidocaine, a controlled substance she is not allowed to use, then tells patients to keep it a secret as she tells them to buy it in Mexico, or that she will have her doctor boyfriend get it, on the patients-if she can ever find it! She loses everything and bitches at the onset of every class because something is missing. She calls her employees and bitches at them for an hour while everyone has to wait for this incompetent loser to set the petrified "students" loose on poor Mexican women who go to her office to get permanent makeup done for free.
Lidocaine is not to be used by anyone who is not a licensed physician, she gets it from some doctor she is having sex with. And her students know because that is what she talks about during her "classes." She also talks about how much weight she's gained and how she needs to lose it in order to get her doctor boyfriend to find her attractive. NOT useful information for anyone, but you must feign an interest in this egomaniac at all times!
She has a non-profit, scar-treatment center, scars gone or scars for freedom that hasn't operated legally in years and yet she gets self-gratification every time she draws a tiny bit of attention to her "charity work." She claims she does it instead of advertising and to bring in clients, and she certainly never does any scar revision on veterans!
She's an overweight, insecure, youth chasing narcissist. Students must listen to her announce the latest round of botox, fillers or peels she has done constantly. But no matter how much revision she does on her faade, inside she is an ugly, fat, dirty, (just look at her face, hair, clothes and office), thief who steals from everyone she meets. She has no morals or decency; she's a malignant, lying scam-artist.
Her "best" student is a filthy woman named Bonnie who wears a pink matted wig and stinks from her inability to shower or wash the ridiculous pink rug on her head. Bonnie can't figure out how to TATTOO eyebrows on the victims Guadalupe's students practice on: poor Mexican women from Coachella Valley. Guadalupe never helps students actually learn how to TATTOO on people, she insists they learn by practicing on them, and it shows. Bonnie TATTOOS eyebrows in the wrong place, then Guadalupe mocks the poor Mexican patients by saying, "What are they going to do, sue us? They don't even have green cards!" Bonnie is a disaster and liar. She destroys women's faces with her incompetence and Guadalupe doesn't give a d**n about any of the mistakes made on these poor women who have to live with crooked, pink eyebrows, (due to red ink used on their eyebrows!) scribbled lip liner and horrid blue eyeliner.
Plenty of people have been robbed by this con artist. Just ask her buddy, Jackie Devereaux at (888)837-0470, an unemployed ex-entertainment lawyer who spills out over the chair in Guadalupe's office because she is another woman who over indulges in anything she can consume. She gets paid nothing but is so sad and lonely she hangs on to Guadalupe for any activity in her vacuous life. And the lawsuits are a constant!
Do yourselves a favor and contact any tattoo parlor or permanent makeup instructor and ask them how you can learn to TATTOO without destroying trusting women's faces. Practicing on a frozen pig's foot and human beings doesn't cut it.

The real story.
I just finished having a micro-dermabrasion and a radio frequency treatment to my face and neck at the Ponte Medi Spa, and the facialist was FANTASTIC! I highly recommend this place for any facial and body treatments. Why? Because I've had dozens of face and body treatments here since 2008, and can honestly say, they've improved my appearance immensely. Even family and close friends notice the difference. My sister from Idaho said: "Your skin looks great. What are you doing?" I told her about Ponte Medi Spa and now she's going for her own treatments whenever she's in town visiting me.
How did the Ponte Medi Spa improve my appearance? By utilizing modern aesthetic methods including chemical peels, micro-dermabrasion, and radio frequency, which reduced the fine lines, wrinkles, diminishing the sagging and fading skin of my face. They also have improved the overall youthful appearance of my skin.

By signing this petition we realize we will go on public record that we the undersigned believe Guadalupe Ponte-Martinez to be a criminal con-artist and thief. We would recommend and warn those considering taking her tattoo classes and any classes she offers to reconsider and distance yourself from this woman because she is only interested in profiting off the public with no concern for them or their losses. Victims will never learn anything from this swindler. She’ll drain their bank accounts of thousands of dollars. Guadalupe Ponte sells unsuspecting victims a high-priced derma-brasion certification class while failing to realize informed students can obtain the limited information she has to offer on their own and without any need from the state for any certification what-so-ever. She’s a scam-artist! Ponte should be and deserves to be put out of business. Check with the Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau and the other local schools offering the same classes in the Palm Dessert area, then take your money and run. I became acquainted with Guadalupe Ponte over fifteen years ago in a professional manner when I
worked for the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage by offering her corporate hotel rates for her
clients who flew in from other states to obtain her services.
I admired Ms.Ponte her for dedication, professionalism, expertise and compassion. Several years
ago I made a decision to change careers .After much research I came to the conclusion that no
other school offered the comprehensive training I could get from Ms. Ponte.
I chose Ms. Ponte's school even though it was over 120 miles each way from my home for various
reasons.
Ms. Ponte is one of the few people licensed by the State of California Department of Consumer
Affairs as an instructor of micro-pigmentation and permanent make up. Her experience in the
field and her sterling reputation. At a certain point she encourages her student to come into
her procedure room to observe. Finally, she will allow students to assist. Ms. Ponte is
constantly preparing each and every student for them to be able to be confident permanent
makeup artists. She offers a free clinic for the community every Thursday night, which has been
doing for many years, and allows her students to come any or every Thursday night to perfect
their skills in permanent make up. Students are welcome
to come as long as they chose. There is never a time limit. I personally have been attending
her Thursday night clinic on and off for approximately two years and am always welcomed. During
the Thursday night clinic I have personally worked with Julie and Eva on at least two
occasions. Eva commented on how wonderful it was to get the on hands experience and worked with
me on clients. Julie was doing another procedure at the same time.
Ms. Ponte has a sterling reputation which has not gone unnoticed. The Mayor of Palm Desert has
proclaimed Sept. 15 Guadalupe Ponte Day. The Aqua Caliente Mission Indians declared her charity
of their choice of 2012. President Obama has written a letter thanking her for her
contributions of our Soldiers. The White House has honored her with a CALL TO SEVICEAWARD AND
METAL.Due to the confidence and training I have received from Ms. Ponte I have opened by own
permanent makeup business in Laguna Beach.

Oh burn! Slow day at my new job that I didn’t have to lose thousands to get certified to do. decided to look online to review Ponte’s LOST court cases. She really has been sued at least 25 times. I stopped counting after a while. Thanks mom for still guiding me in the right direction. I miss her every day but I know she’s proud that I can see people for who they are and not who they pretend to be so as not to get duped by con artists like the other students were. If anyone wants evidence we can go take pictures for them. I have lots of friend here in Palm Springs to help. We stick together and care about people and would all be willing to get information and evidence. A great bunch of friends that are getting me through my shock of losing my mom. I just knew there was something dishonest with Ponte's story, she creeped me out. Maybe for one because she won’t talk over the phone about her course but makes people go in to her office and meet face to face in a private room alone with her. She also has no photographs of actual clients anywhere, she steals copyrighted photographs off the internet for her ads. No actual clients are used anywhere she advertises and she doesn’t have a portfolio of her work to show potential students. Did I mention I had great friends? And my father is a retired police officer. Seriously, what is she hiding? Ponte is a total sleaze IMO. My beloved mom died in a car accident by someone who also was driving under the influence like Ponte and without registration. All in the court records.
Now I feel personally obligated to help others see what a parasite Ponte is. Get her off the streets and out of business or she could take more than your money, she could kill you or a loved one! Her son was also incarcerated for dealing drugs. She’s really good about trying to defame people with threats and public records, all but when it comes to hers and her families. Amazing what you can access if your dad was a cop. In fact her entire family has been involved in some sort of criminal activity. Businesses in the same field have nothing kind to say about her at all. She is truly a deeply disliked person and considered lowly trailer trash in the Palm Desert business community. I love the article she posted as a rebuttal. She so clearly wrote it herself because it’s not a real article. Her spelling is atrocious and pathetic. Spell checker is a very useful tool Ponte. It makes her sound and look even more like an idiot when she opens her mouth or attempts to write! Links to her victims so called history lead to internal server errors or no full names in the so called incriminating evidence. They are also non working email addresses. I've tried to contact them myself. So it would seem her rebuttal evidence is at best falsified and fictional. And her defense to her good charactar, yes, that’s how it was spelled, is some archaic youtube video that shows nothing demonstrating anything she does. Her good character rebuttal letter? Doesn’t open to anything! Testimonials? Nada! How can a self proclaimed 50 something year old reputable business woman be so stupid? Good luck with her email address; http://www.pontemedispa.com/contact/ it’s another dead link. And this? http://scarsgone.com is a commercial paid for by the people who appear in it. In other words, it’s advertising she bought, the interviewer is just a paid actor.

My name is Guadalupe Ponte. I am a licenced (City of Palm Desert #11-00051841, County of Riverside Environmental Health Department #FA0028318), insured, reputable business woman.I have been a state certified instructor and a working dermagraphic specialist for the last 18 years. I have a client base of 8,500 and a large group (over 1 hundred) of sucessful, working, professional dermagraphic specialists, that I have trained. I also donate my time to charity through Scars to Freedom, a 501(c)3 non-profit. I help wounded war veterans with scar revision, completely free of charge.
This report, though written anonymously, has clearly been penned by Shelly Daily, Eva Voorhees, and Julie Carlson. These three women were incompetent, disgruntaled, and kisturbed. They took my class and though completing it , decided to drop out right before graduation and certification.
These women have DUI's and arrest records.They were disruptive, unqualified, negative, and looking for someone to blame for their life problems.
30 days prior to this devastating report, these 3 students Shelly Daily, Eva Voorhees, and Julie Carlson completed my training, with all equipment included, and gained knowledge of my practice. They proceed to attack me and sued in Small Claims Court for a refund. They lost! The court found in my favor. This is public knowledge.Feel free to look it up. First to loose Eva Voorhees.... second to loose Shelly Daily....and Julie Carlson, who attended all court dates did not proceed further due to the lack of meritof their claims and her DUI record. This is all public knowledge.
Prior to these horrible lies being said about me, I had a perfect record. My services to the community have helped a great many people with scar revision. I have help many students achieve a new and sucessful career. Our charity has helped over 50 soldiers/veterans with their war wounds.
I am deeply hurt that these three viscous women would say such lies about me with out any facts or backup. We only knew each other for 6 weeks. I can only hope that anyone who reads anything about me will go to my three websites(scarstofreedom.org, scarsgone.com, learninkstrc.com) and form their own opinions about me and my business. I hope anyone reading this will want to help Scars to Freedom and stop defaming and misjudging me. I have spent 20 years of hard work helping others. That's a fact.
