Beware of Guaranteed Auto Credit. They sold my son a lemon. We traded in a better vehicle than we purchased. Within two months we had replaced the battery, the starter and found that the lug nuts on one wheel were all loose, oil was black and had to be changed, vehicle is running very rough.

The affiliated "Auto Finance" company is also very unethical. Have you ever heard of a finance company repossessing a vehicle at 10:45 at night even though the buyer had made several phone calls and even sent payments totaling 400.00 leaving a balance of 120.00 owed? Excuse me 125.00...they kept changing their story, and then when you contacted them the next day to try to settle the balance so you could get your vehicle back, they tell you they are calling the note and you have to pay 9200.00 up front plus the repo fees (150.00) because you had the audacity to get upset when they came to repossess the vehicle because a payment had been made that very day...

Pay 9400.00 up front or lose the vehicle completely which amounts to losing the trade in car (3000.00) and all the costs to repair the vehicle (around 200.00) tags (398.00) and the payments made(895.00) and they give you ten days to come up with the money. By the way, the payments were 330.00 a month at 21% interest and they kept changing their story about payment options--you can pay in person, no you can't, now yes you can all within a few months. Please, Please, Please, beware of doing business with these people. They are very unethical. Hopefully, our pain can save you from having to go through this.

Jeannette,

This is how these type of car lots operate. This is why you can never do anythingverbally with them. Everything must be in writing.

You may have to go to small claims court for your losses. You really need to fle a complaint against the dealer's license, and file a claim against the bond on that dealer's license

Also, if your payments were up to date before close of business on the day they repossessed, and you can prove it, you can file a theft report with the local police.

As far as the condition of the car goes, all of that stuff should have been checked out before buying the vehicle. If you don't know anything about cars, you should take someone with you who does.

Good luck.
