http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/402/ripoff0402140.htm#378791

I posted some information specifically for YOU that may be helpful to you, especially since you didn't receive the computer configuration you thought you were purchasing.

It took me some time to compile the information. Read my rebuttals on that report (to you) and if you have any questions, post them on the yahoo group that my rebuttal mentions-it'll be relayed directly to my email.

Good luck.

I sent my complaint to Arbitration on CEC, aka Guaranteed Consumer Funding

I notice that this supervisor1 has alot of time to rebut on this site, maybe they need to spend more time on the phone with Dell Computer's actually ordering computer's and giving customers a real delivery date instead of false delivery dates. I wondered why Dell never has an order on file for the CEC customer's, That is because CEC lie's, CEC, aka Guaranteed Consumer Funding will get busted one day soon I hope. They offered me that cheap printer also, but they wanted me to drop all of my complaints first. They have $1058.68 of my money, I want it back, I can't trust them with the false delivery dates, all of these supervisors will lie to you, and they talk very rude even call you names. This is not great customer service to me. WARNING TO ALL! I sent my complaint to Arbitration, I hope they can help me.

Cheryl Zeigler's order was held up due to the credit crunch, as we had to wait for our bank to update us with our new lending policies for potentially defaulting customers. Ms. Zeigler was not originally flagged as a potentially defaulting customer, but her intentions have become clear based on her actions.

Ms. Zeigler should retain counsel so we can communicate with someone who is educated on layaway laws in California, where she lives and in Virginia, where she entered into her contract. She will learn a valuable lesson about the rights of a lender to provide and/or revoke financing.

Our intentions with every customer is to provide a service which includes delivering merchandise and reporting positive feedback to credit bureaus, unfortunately there are consumers who elect not to honor their signed agreements and decide to slander companies who have good, honest intentions in order to cover up their lack of accountability.

Response to Cheryl

#8UPDATE Employee

Sun, November 02, 2008

We have worked things out with Cheryl in good faith. She will be receiving her merchandise within the next 10 business days if she complies with the agreement that she made with a supervisor on October 31, 2008. We find this response, coming the day after her agreement, a bit surprising and can be deemed as passive aggressive behavior. We are always forthcoming with our information and expect the same from our customers. If Cheryl is truly interested in receiving her merchandise and abiding by her agreement, then we encourage her actions to support her intentions. We consider actions such as these, to be traits of a potentially defaulting customer. We are obligated by law to deliver merchandise to any customer who we have ever drafted a payment from. We deliver merchandise in one of two ways: either 1. Via their signed layaway agreement or 2. By having them become credit worthy enough to receive our financing before paying their merchandise in full. If any default or interruption in payments occurs, we reserve the right to enforce the customer's original signed layaway contract.
