Do not be fooled. Shelly Fernandez, EV122 through GUARDIAN FINANCIAL BENEFIT called my home and sold me a Mastercard with a $2000.00 credit limit. She said that the Mastercard would be 0% interest for the fisrt 6 months, and then 4.9% interest thereafter. I was told the card would arrive in 10-25 business days after the fee was processed.

I was VERY clear to ask "SHELLY FERNANDEZ, EV122" if this was a "loadable or prepaid card where you put your own money on it. I told her that I am not interested in that at all. She assured me it was a CREDIT card with a ONE time processing fee of $249.00. I then went further to ask her if it was a "secured credit card" because I was not interested in a secured card, and she again said that it was a regular CREDIT card.

I asked how they could offer the credit card, and she said that it was a credit builder program. When the package came today, it turned out to not only be NO MASTERCARD, but a box full of junk mail for cash advance services and rip off travel services. Oh, and the only mention of a MASTERCARD was the form that you could send in for a "prepaid or loadable MASTERCARD that you have to pay upwards of $59.00 for processing, plus other fees. I am so upset about this scam, because GUARDIAN FINANCIAL BENEFIT, and all of their affiliates are con artist that PREY on people that have credit problems. I am rebuilding my credit and it is CRIMINAL to have cheats out here that are making MILLIONS off of people that are trying to re-establish themselves, and get on track.

If you have been taken as well, I encourage you to file a report here, as well as contact the Federal Trade Commission and your attorney general. I will get my money back, but it is a shame that I have to go through all of this hassle because of a preadatory company like GUARDIAN FINANCIAL BENEFIT. If they call you, please, hang up!
