I applied for a loan online, and was contacted by Guardian Financial. The man's name was Dale Watson, and he told us that we were approved for a loan of $30,000.00 but we would have to pay a down payment of $3500.00. We sent the money through money gram, and the very next day was contacted again, and was told that because of our credit, that we would have to pay $1500.00 more. We refused, so we were told that the $3500.00 that we sent would be put back into our account in approx 2 weeks. In the mean time, we found on this Rip-off site where this company had ripped off several people. We contacted them over this matter, and they told us that a customer had gotten upset with them, and had put the report online, and that the person was being sued.

Well, needless to say, our money was never returned, and when we call the 800 number now that was given to us, we get a recording that says, "Good-bye"!. How convienant!!.
PLEASE DO NOT deal with this company. They are liars, and will take your money and run!!

I think that it's a shame that this company or whoever thiese people are can not be stopped.

We contacted the Chamber of Commerence in Charlotte, and they told us that they were aware of the problem, but they couldn't "find" these people. That is hard to believe. Someone is paying a phone bill in Charlotte. My goodness, the address is there in Charlotte, and a phone number.

PLEASE DO NOT deal with these people folks! We borrowed the money from a family member, and now, we have to pay it back a little at a time.

Why didn't you send the money Fedex?

You seem to think these people are in Charlotte and think it is the responsibility of the authorities there to track them down.

If you were so sure they were in Charlotte why did you not send the money by Fedex so you could track it? Moneygrams can be picked up anywhere in the world, even when the recipient claims says he is in Charlotte.
